Recognizing patterns allows your learner to practice predicting what will happen, talking about relationships and seeing connections.
Increase your learner’s patterning skills, specifically, their ability to predict what comes next. Instruct your learner to complete the pattern with the tiles provided.
Patterns include: AB, AAB, and ABC
CVC Robot Scramble
These CVC Short Vowel Puzzles are perfect for practicing short vowel middle sounds, which are sometimes harder to master than beginning sounds. Remember that practice makes progress, so make sure to give your learner lots and lots of practice!
If your learner is able, use the puzzles without the image cards. Challenge them to find the cvc word, and other nonsense words. For learners who need extra help, use the image cards as reinforcement.
As your learner uses the image cards, you will be able to assess if they are able to problem solve and determine the cvc word.
Puzzles included for short a,e,i,o,and u vowels. Optional recording sheet is also included.
Robot Sight Words
Sight words are essential for early reading success. Get your gears together, and practice building sight words with this hands-on activity.
Set includes the entire Dolch list of pre-primer, primer, grade one, grade two, grade three, and noun sight words.
20, 50, and 100 Chart Puzzles
These Robot Numbers Charts are so versatile! The sets include 3 different charts: 20, 50, and 100. And also includes 3 versions of each: a blank chart, a completed chart, and a separate sheet to be used as puzzle pieces.
Either have your learner fill in the missing numbers on the chart, use it as a reference, or complete it like a puzzle.
Robot Letter Cards
Proper letter formation takes practice. Use these cards to practice both upper and lower case letters. You can also use these cards to practice letter sequencing and letter recognition. Win-win-win!
Upper and lower case letters are included!
Robot Number Cards
Number formation can be just as tricky as letter formation and recognition. As always, practice makes progress! Adding a sensory element to any activity also helps with memory retention.
Numbers 1 – 20 included!
Robot 4 Piece Puzzles
Puzzles are great for visual discrimination and problem solving. Both help learners think logically. As the teacher, ask open ended questions as they complete the activity so that they can use language to represent their thinking. For example, ask your learner how they decided which card was the robot’s head, or legs.
Roll & Graph!
Using a graph to compare numbers and to determine quantities helps learners develop mathematical concepts that can be applied to a wide range of learning opportunities.
Instruct your learner to roll the die, and then graph the robot!
But graphs can also be used to reinforce literacy skills. Use these sight words robot graphs to help learners practice reading sight words.
7 graphs are included! A blank graph for graphing the robots on the printable die, and the Dolch pre-primer, primer, first grade, second grade, third grade, and nouns sight words. (30 words each)
After your learner rolls the printable die, instruct them to dab or cover the word once they have read it!
Robot Ten Frames
Number recognition and subitizing promote number thinking and helps to build cognition skills.
Use these cards to help your learner practice and enhance their subitizing skills. Instruct them to simply find the number that matches the ten frame and clip it will a clothespin.
Pick A Robot… Fill The Frame!
This activity is perfect for math centers in a kindergarten room, a sensory bin in a preschool classroom, or any other learning environment.
This game is hands-on and allows learners to practice all kinds of number sense skills. Simply instruct your learner to pick a robot, use their finger to trace the number, and then fill the ten or twenty frame to match the number.
