Counting Monsters
There are two ways to engage with the Monster Counting Mats.
First, your learner may decide to choose any monsters to match the number indicated on the mat.
Or they may choose to find the monster that has enough duplicates to match the number. With this option your learner will also utilize their problem solving skills as they will need to count and determine which monster has the right amount of pieces for the mat.
Both options are included.

Friendly Monsters Counting Book
This activity allows your learner to complete the sentences in the book themselves! Literacy can be fun, especially when engaging!
Instruct your learner to count the monsters on each page, and then find the correct word that completes the sentence. The number cards include dots as added support in order to encourage success. The learner may also choose to complete some of the pages according to colour.
Pro tip! Use velcro pieces so that number cards remain attached when the pages are turned.

Number Puzzles

This is a fun activity that allows children to enhance their mathematical awareness, and one-to-one correspondence.
