Hello again tribe mates! If you’re little learners are beginning to sound out words, these free beginning sounds clip cards are perfect!
These cards are perfect for preschoolers and kindergartners, and work on enhancing fine motor skills too! Win-win.
To grab these for your arsenal of hands-on literacy activities simply scroll to bottom, fill out the form, and download!
Beginning Sounds Clip Cards
These cards are super simple, and can be completed independently. Simply instruct the learner to say the name of the picture, and then make the beginning sound of its name.
Making Sounds
To extend the activity, ask the child to say the name of the letter as well. If possible, act out the image on the cards or make a sound associated with it. The more you get other senses involved in the activity, the more your learner will retain the information.
Upper Case Beginning Sounds Clip Cards
This set also includes an upper case version for learners that are working on both upper case and lower case letters!
Simply download, print, cut, and play!
