Happy April Tribemates!
To kick off the month of April I would love to share a simple activity that my littlest learners and I enjoy. It’s a simple activity, but for some reason, maybe because of the beautiful rainbow colors :), they gravitate to it whenever it’s out for rotation. The Rainbow Match Alphabet Activity!
Alphabet Activities
You know I always say it whenever I refer to any literacy or phonemic activity… Repetition, repetition, repetition! The more practice you give your learner, the more the skill will progress. That includes letter recognition! The importance of “arming” yourself with letter recognition activities to be kept in your arsenal of activities is soooo important. Read more about that here!

The prep for this activity is super simple too!
Print the cards on cardstock, and laminate for durability. Cut out the cards, and cut along the dotted line. Instruct your learner to match the upper and lower case letters to complete the rainbows.
And voila! A simple and quiet alphabet activity that can be completed almost anywhere or anytime.
So with the onset of spring, and the beautiful skies, enjoy this rainbow match alphabet activity, and be sure to tag me on Instagram or Facebook so I can see how your learners are engaging with the activity!
